Where do you ship to?

We ship across Canada and the USA (contiguous states only). We do not ship to PO boxes in the United States.

How much is shipping?

We offer low cost fixed rate shipping and free shipping depending on your location. Our base fixed rates start at: $10 in Ontario, $15 in Quebec and $20 across Canada & the USA. We offer half price shipping and free shipping at certain order thresholds depending on your location. Please refer to the announcement bar at the top of the page for more specific details for your location.

Some exclusions may apply. If you live in a remote, rural, or otherwise not easily accessible location, we may have to ask you for an additional amount to be able to send your order. We try to absorb as much of the cost as we can, however sometimes the shipping costs can be restrictive depending on your location and the size of box required.

How long does shipping take?

We provide you with an estimated delivery date range at the checkout before payment. Please refer to your estimated delivery dates for the most accurate estimate.

Here are the average transit times when sent via Standard Shipping:

Ontario and Quebec: 1 to 4 business days
PEI, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick: 2 to 5 business days
Newfoundland: 3 to 8 business days
Manitoba: 2 to 5 business days
Saskatchewan and Alberta: 2 to 6 business days
British Columbia: 2 to 7 business days
Territories: 5 to 10 business days
United States (lower 48): 2 to 6 business days (customs delays may occur)

PO boxes may take slightly longer, due to Canada Post's service.

When will my order be shipped/dispatched?

Your order will be dispatched in enough time to be delivered within the estimated delivery dates you selected at the checkout.

We'll send you a shipping confirmation email with your tracking information once it ships.

When will I receive my tracking information?

You will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking information as soon as your order has been processed for shipping.

Incorrect Shipping Address or Missing Information

You are responsible for entering your shipping address at the checkout, and reviewing it before checking out. We do not accept any responsibility for you entering an incorrect address or an address with missing information, such as a buzzer code or apartment number. If you notice you entered an incorrect address, please contact us as soon as possible. If we've already shipped your order before you contact us, you'll have to pay for the courier's Address Correction Fee ($14 - $16). If your order is not able to be delivered due to you providing an incorrect address, we are unable to provide any refund or compensation. Any credit card chargebacks regarding this matter will be disputed, and we will send any owing amounts of yours to collections if necessary.

Returned to Sender

Any package that is returned to us will be subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee to cover the cost of labour, packaging materials and shipping fees (the courier charges us for the return). Shipping fees are non-refundable. Your total cost incurred for a return is a minimum 25% of the subtotal, plus the shipping fees (which also includes the additional return shipping fee charged by the courier).

Shipping chocolate during hot weather

British chocolate is a necessity for chocolate lovers - however, it is not very fond of high temperatures! Ice packs and insulation are automatically added to your cart during our summer months if your cart contains a meltable item. It is your choice to either keep it in your cart, or remove it from your cart. It helps prevent chocolate from melting, however it is not guaranteed to prevent melting.

Ultimately, it is out of our control, and chocolate is shipped at your own risk during hot weather. We will not refund you for melted chocolate. It is ordered at your own risk. The only way to 100% prevent it from melting is shipping it with a refrigerated courier, using a refrigerated truck, which is incredibly expensive and you likely won't want to pay $100+ in refrigerated shipping fees for chocolate.

Shipping during freezing temperatures

With our cold Canadian winters, orders in transit may be subject to below freezing temperatures. Any drinks or other liquid products may freeze while in transit, and they are ordered at your own risk during the winter. 

Unfortunately this is unavoidable and completely out of our control. We are not responsible for any items that arrive frozen or damaged due to being frozen. Any orders containing liquids or any other material prone to freezing is done so at your own risk. Thank you for understanding.

Signature Required

All shipments are sent, by default, with no signature required. It's your responsibility to request this service from us if you so wish. All couriers charge extra for this service, and we will charge you the applicable fee. If you do not request this from us, it is not our responsibility to provide the signature required delivery service.
