Released in the UK by Cadbury in the early 1970s, Cadbury Twirl is a delicious twist on the iconic Cadbury Flake - a flaky, crumbly chocolate bar with a silky smooth milk chocolate finish. Traditionally, the Cadbury Flake is a chocolate bar made with crumbly flakes of Cadbury chocolate, creating a chocolate bar that flakes and crumbles with every bite. However, the Twirl has a layer of smooth chocolate surrounding the crumbly flakiness, perfectly containing the crumbs as you bite into the bar. It is rumoured that Twirls were accidentally created by an over-spill of chocolate while manufacturing Flakes.
