Fatefully created in the UK in 1899 by clumsy Bassetts Salesman Charlie Thompson, who accidentally mixed up the samples of new liquorice varieties. Resulting in an intriguing mix of liquorice, they decided to try selling it. Since then, Liquorice Allsorts have been an iconic British candy!
